The reason she came back was to break the curse, she needed Elena, the moonstone, a witch, a werewolf, and a vampire. Meanwhile Bonnie meet a warlock and Jermey gets jeolous. the warlock's father is then acompanied by an original and kill Damon's friend.Stefan finds Elena at the tomb where he tells her that Kathrine lies and then said "Kathrine is a phycatic bitch to think that they will let her out of the tomb." and then Kathrine said " klaus will come to kill them and he won't enter a tomb where no vampire can get out of, so she's the safest phycatic bitch in town" to "The episode first starts off with a flashback to Bulgaria where we see Katherine, or now then as Katerina Petrova, giving birth. Her mother and father do not let her keep her baby and make her give it away. We then cut to the opening credits and then to Elena knocking on the Salvatores door in present time. Damon answers and it is an awkward exchange as Elena asks to see Stefan. When he lets her in, we see Stefan and Rose. At first Elena is surprised. Then, we cut to Damon, Elena, Stefan, and Rose all talking. Rose insists Klaus, who is known to be an Original, exist and is coming after Elena. At the end of the conversation, Elena says she has to go to school but when Stefan offers to take her, she declines. Then we cut to Elena at the tomb with Caroline. She swears Caroline to secrecy about what she is doing and makes her promise not to tell Stefan. Caroline does so reluctently and the two go down to the tomb. Caroline opens the tomb, revealing a weak and bloodthirsty Katherine. Caroline leaves to distract Stefan and Elena starts to bribe Katherine; she'll give Katherine blood if Katherine tells her all about Klaus and the reason why Katherine is here. Katherine at first declines, than accepts. Meanwhile, Bonnie and Jeremy are at school and Jeremy has just asked Bonnie out to the Mystic Grill. As Bonnie accepts, they meet a new kid, Luka. He seems to like Bonnie and Jeremy seems a bit uncomfortable. Then, we see Caroline meeting Stefan at school. She convinces him to come to the grill with her so she can talk to him about how Tyler knows she's a vampire. Then we see Katherine revealing her past, slowly, to Elena. Katherine had to give up her baby because it was a love child and her parents found her a disgrace. Then, they banished her. She left Bulgaria and went to America where she met Klaus. She didn't know what he was and she loved him, until she found out that he was going to kill her because she was a Katerina Petrova doppleganger. Katherine flees and tries to escape. Trevor then helps her, sending her to the cottage where Rose lives. Rose is angry she is there but lets her in, only to trap her in another room to get Klaus. Then we cut to Damon and Rose. They are going to find a vampire who knows just about everything that's going on in the vampire world. When they go, Damon is reluctant to trust Rose, but she insists that he can. They meet the guy, who tells them all he knows about Klaus which is very little. While they are, we see Elijah who has come back to life, preparing to throw coins at the window and expose the vampire all in sunlight. As they continue talking, we cut to Stefan and Caroline at the grill. Stefan is upset that Caroline told Tyler what she was, but quickly forgives her. He reveals that Caroline reminds him of Lexi. Just as Caroline asks about Lexi, Stefan asks her to tell him where Elena is. Caroline refuses, but Stefan figures out on his own. Then, we see Bonnie entering the grill. She is waiting for Jeremy, and while doing so sees Luka and his father. They meet and chat and it is shown that Luka's father is somehow connected with Warloc and Witch history, but this is only known 'cause Bonnie has guessed this. Jeremy arrives and she leaves them. We then switch to Elena and Katherine. Katherine continues to reveal that instead of being taken to Klaus, Trevor came to the cottage, saying how he loved Katherine. Before this, Rose had found Katherine with a knife driven through her torso. Katherine says she'd rather die than be killed by Klaus. Rose gives her some of her blood and turns around to Trevor. The next second, we see Katherine has hung herself and is now a vampire. Then we cut to Damon, Rose, and the other vampire. They are talking as the windows break, exposing sunlight. Rose is in danger 'cause she doesn't have a ring to protect her. Damon saves her. Rose begins to cry, telling Damon she's afraid Klaus will kill them all. Back to the grill, we see Jeremy and Bonnie playing pool as Luka cuts in. He and Bonnie exchnaged glances and then begin to talk about how he is a Warloc. Jeremy gets jealous and leaves. Then we see Katherine and Elena again. Katherine finally reveals that not only does she need Elena, the moonstone, and a werewolf to hand over to Klaus so she can be free of his vengeance, but she needs a vampire and a witch as well; Bonnie and Caroline. We then see Stefan running in, trying to convince Elena that Katherine is lying. But Elena thinks she is telling the truth. Katherine tells Stefan that she does not want to escape the tomb and that she is not lying. She wouldn't want to escape the tomb because Klaus is coming and if she is the tomb, he can't kill her. Then we switch to Damon and Rose back at the Salvatore home. Rose and Damon bond, end up making out, and then sleeping with eachother. The ending scene involves nearly all the characters. We see Stefan comforting Elena because she thinks it is her fault that everyone is in danger. Then we see Katherine crying and feeling bad that Klaus killed her parents out of revenge. Then we see Damon and Rose. Rose gets a call from that one vampire, who says that he needs the moonstone to be delivered to him. Once they hang up, we see Elijah. Turns out, the vampire betrayed Rose and was compelled by Elijah, who can compel vampires as well as humans. He compells the vampire to kill himself and we see Luka's dad. He and Elijah seem to be in cahoots, although Luka's dad doesn't think he should have made the vampire kill himself. The episode concludes." because this information is more detailed and true than the previous information submitted.

Marathon week[edit]

I know repeat ratings aren't notable. But what about the "Marathon Week" ratings/viewers? It's the only series on The CW to get this treatment by which giving the show a whole week of prime-time, so should it be included? Jayy008 (talk) 19:58, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Spelling again[edit]

Doppelgänger, not dopplegänger or doppleganger. --91.9.216.40 (talk) 23:23, 31 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Length of episode summaries[edit]

I thought the episode summaries were supposed to be brief? They are way too long and detailed and need some heavy-duty copy editing. I haven't been watching recently else I'd do it myself. Ravenscroft32 (talk) 15:22, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yep, agreed. I'm not very good at copy editing so I can't do it either. But I agree they're far too long. Jayy008 (talk) 15:34, 7 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
