Out-of-date, incorrect information[edit]

This article cited out-of-date, incorrect conventional wisdom as fact: i. e. that the earliest Mickey Mouse comics were all in the public domain. Some, in truth, actually weren't—this is how Disney forced the settlement with Malibu.

I've updated it now with links to standing copyrights and renewals for the first week of strips, as well as the copyright rulings that—as of 1989—protected the strips through 2005. This is how Disney forced the settlement with Malibu. Ramapith (talk) 18:53, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Ramapith, thank you — I'm really glad that you corrected it! — Toughpigs (talk) 18:56, 12 July 2020 (UTC)[reply]
