Billy Fury[edit]

Shouldn't the article mention the fact that the band backed Billy Fury before they achieved success with Telstar? The article seems to ignore their career before Telstar. Mpvide65 (talk) 20:14, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, and it now does. However, the whole article still lacks sufficient references and a real focus. Despite numerous edits over a lengthy period, it is still something of a rambling mess.

Roger Jackson - Roger LaVern[edit]

Roger featured in "24 Hours In Emergency" a Channel 4 documentary on King's College Hospital's Accident & Emergency Department. The episode of the documentary ended with Telstar being played as he was transported from a ward to have a chest X-ray. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 101.169.48.6 (talk) 11:37, 19 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Death of Roger LaVern?[edit]

This edit says that Roger LaVern died on 16 June 2013 and looks to have been added in good faith. The problem is that there is no reliable source to back it up at the moment, which is an essential requirement per WP:V. If he has died, hopefully something will turn up.--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 15:56, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

He has died, there is a cite from a local newspaper published today.[1]--♦IanMacM♦ (talk to me) 11:50, 20 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Tornadoes[edit]

Surfmusic?!

...there is again the confusion with the surf band The Tornadoes in the article ? even though it's at the top ??! --ChikagoDeCuba (talk) 12:16, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
