Genre[edit]

Variously in the lead paragraph, infobox, portal bar, and categories I have linked this story to speculative fiction (the umbrella term), fantasy novel, fantasy, timeslip, mystery fiction, ghost story, and supernatural fiction. Regarding the last two I think it may be better to go all the way to horror fiction but I have not done so. Evidently we have Category:Horror novels and two horror portals, one being a speculative fiction subportal. I might have specified low fantasy but that is clear enough from "set in the english countryside". --P64 (talk) 16:57, 5 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
