Both Versions left something out

• The 1980 movie had the great scene with Nickolson leering through the door "HEERSS JOHNNY" but petered out at the end with him freezing to death; The 1987 was faithful to the orginal story ending-but the chase scene between Jack and Wendy petered out as well. Prehaps it would have been a great Movie mini-series-with the Jack Nickolson/Wendy chase scene from 1980-and it ended as filmed in 1987 mini-series??

• Um, this series was released in 1997, not 1987. My memory is hazy as it's been a number of years since I last read the novel, but I don't remember there being that big a chase sequence in it between Jack and Wendy. Kingpin1055 09:05, 13 October 2006 (UTC)

Running time

• We sure about the number of episodes/running time? It says there are 3 episodes and 65 minutes per episode / 273 minutes, total. 3 * 65 = 195. Wheres the other 78 minutes coming from?

I've seen it split into two and three episodes depending on the media... it was two episodes for the VHS version and three for the DVD... I don't have access to them at the moment but I'll try get the length of the full miniseries when I get home.-Kingpin1055 11:12, 4 June 2007 (UTC)

Plot Summary
