Japanese chart placings.[edit]

Is there a Japanese equivalent book to the Guinness Book Of British Hit Singles? It would be nice to know just how successful the Shads were in Japan. DavidFarmbrough (talk) 05:02, 30 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

B - Sides[edit]

It would be a nice add-on if there were also the B-sides of the singles mentioned.Noseball (talk) 18:48, 20 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

This is an article[edit]

where Americans need to tread with care, so before doing anything I will post here. I notice that the section (something like) The Shadows with Cliff Richard is just a redirect to Richard's disco, which in turn does not really refer to his work with the Shadows. it seems to me that the records on which the Shadows backed Cliff (I am looking at a couple of EPs here, as an example, The Wild Ones and Cliff en Eslaña, both of which feature the Shadows on all four (eight in total) tracks, and it seems to me that these should;d be included here, especially since there is a more or less unused section already set up. So, should I just charge ahead, start the year with a bang or do we need to talk about this? Einar aka Carptrash (talk) 21:34, 2 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I am removing[edit]

some "($)" markings from some of the EPs because I can not figure out what it refers to. If I have missed something, put them back or write something here. Or both. Carptrash (talk) 01:28, 30 July 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Vocal vs Instrumental[edit]

Although not appropriate for the albums listings, I'm wondering if anyone thinks it would be interesting and/or helpful to notate which singles had vocals as opposed to the instrumental tracks? It may be of interest to casual, non-Shadows fans/experts to know which singles were not instrumental tracks. 2601:647:5480:46A0:3108:E754:12D8:58F3 (talk) 16:17, 16 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted EP articles[edit]

Several articles that I was associated with were put up for deletion on Oct. 27 and 28. Now, Oct. 30, I find that at least three of the articles are gone as are the covers. Since these articles had been there for 5 years or so and were not doing any harm, the covers were not a copyright violation as long as the articles were there. Those three, The Shadows No. 2 and The Shadows No. 3 and Rhythm & Greens were then folded into (what ever the term is) The Shadows discography where they are still blue links connected to the same article that they are now in. This is way-to-fast editing and pretty sloppy at that. I’d like to see the articles returned. How about you? Carptrash (talk) 20:05, 31 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
