Discussion of article merge[edit]

I think this article should stay separate. Although the restaurant "Showbiz Pizza Place" no longer exists, the "Rock-Afire Explosion" animated show still does. Showbizpage 03:51, 14 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Strong Keep Both After going thourgh all the sourves around The Rock-afire Explosion and Showbiz Pizza. The sources clamed that they are now seperate and no longer releated. Showbiz has went on to use the Chuck 'E' Cheese theme and sold off the rights to Rock-afire Explosion. This is why it still exists today at some loacations, many that are unrelated to Showbiz Pizza and Chuck 'E' Cheese. Sawblade05 21:28, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep Both.--TheGrza 21:56, 19 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Keep them seperate. Although the Rock-afire Explosion started off at ShowBiz, it's still around at places that DON'T have connections to ShowBiz. Moronicles 18:42, 1 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong keep both The Rock-afire today is a subject in its own right with no connections to Showbiz. It'd also be an overlong tangent to run with in the Showbiz article. Rob T Firefly 13:52, 21 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Well, it's been about a month and a half with no discussion in favor of the merge beyond the original proposal, so I'll go ahead and remove the merge tags. Rob T Firefly 13:48, 23 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
  • Strong Keep Both I know that the discussion ended, but I wanted to show that people still want these articles to be seperate after the discussion. Basically, the same reasons as above. Dylanlip (talk) 01:09, 21 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Documentary[edit]

Is the documentary section regarding the same band? --TimothyJacobson (talk) 02:49, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Guys, really?[edit]

It's an article about a fictional band, describing them as an actual band.

'Former Members- Santa Claus'-what the hell? I suggest a revamp or a delete.--Editor510 drop us a line, mate 20:35, 15 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Circus Pizza?[edit]

Hey, I had a chain of restaurants called Circus Pizza all over the place here in Minnesota and was wondering why it doesn't mention that because these animatronic characters were in all of them. Kiwisoup (talk) 06:32, 2 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I grew up in Minnesota, and I used to go to the Circus Pizza in Brooklyn Park in the 90's, and it had a Rock-afire show. I last stopped by that strip mall in Jan 2001 and I'm fairly sure Circus Pizza was closed by then. Apparently the whole mall was bulldozed around 2003.

According to that link both Showbiz and Circus Pizza were operating in MN in the 80's, and Circus had its own animatronic show. When Showbiz went under in MN, Circus bought up the Rock-afire animatronics. How many Circus Pizzas was there? I think Circus Pizza needs its own article... 24.23.210.81 (talk) 23:08, 12 April 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I remember at least 3 locations in specific, but I can find reference to 5 in MN that were retrofitted to Chuck-E-Cheese, and I'm not sure how many weren't retrofitted and closed or became something else entirely. The one in Edina was notable for having the Rock-afire Explosion 2.0 setup.Kiwisoup (talk) 21:11, 10 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Circus Pizza with the Rock Afire Explosion characters was in a Burnsville MN strip mall until a Chuck E Cheese opened in the Burnsville Center. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.42.138.207 (talk) 02:42, 11 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Wolf Pack Five[edit]

What is the Wolf Pack Five? Is this a predecessor act? Was it associated with ShowBiz? The bios of five characters who were( apparently) carried over and rebranded mention this, but there's no explanation of what it was. WikidSmaht (talk) 09:13, 18 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
