Egypt?[edit]

The Egypt badge isn't explained, what's it about? --AW (talk) 20:22, 28 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone? --AW 21:07, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
see 28th (North Gloucestershire) Regiment of Foot , They were awarded this honour after fighting in Egypt. The Battalion had to stand back to back to fend off the French attacks , hence they wore Regimental cap badges on the front and rear of their headress JS1 (talk) 13:27, 29 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

7 Rifles Oxford company[edit]

The Oxford company for 7 Rifles now parades in Abingdon, are there any objections to editing this?Smudge1162 (talk) 16:08, 23 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

1 Rifles[edit]

I've amended the infobox to reflect 1 Rifles as a Light Infantry unit, rather than as a Commando. They're attached to 3 Cdo Bde but they're not configured as a Commando and members need not be commando qualified.

3 Rifles - Edinburgh[edit]

3 Rifles were due to relocate to Cattaerick in 2021, but this move never happened and they are still in Edinburgh (as per Army website/3 Rifles Twitter account).

This should be updated unless anyone has any objections or additional information. BH530481 (talk) 10:54, 3 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
