FINALLY[edit]

Woohoo, a chance to see the Spice Girls in concert!! Hopefully I get picked in October for first choice to buy tickets!

In case you are wondering, people will be randomly chosen on 1st of October this year for first choice to buy tickets, which kinda sucks, but still, I'm excited!

- Sarz 11:20, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

same, but more important is Spice Girls are Back w/ Geri :D --SuperHotWiki 22:47, 28 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Where is the information for Toronto as a stop? It doesn't say this in their website.

Toronto is not included in the tour dates in the official site --SuperHotWiki 23:23, 29 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It is now - it got voted as the "Spice City". Steveweiser 18:26, 4 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Extra dates[edit]

Extra tour dates that are rumored should not be included on wikipedia articles. This is not a crystal ball. --Theloon 14:39, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

DVD??[edit]

Does anyone know if the Spice Girls plan to release a DVD with the show of this tour, next year??

Nothing has been confirmed, but fingers crossed! -- Sarz 03:52, 28 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Who knows - but this isnt a music forum or a place to discuss the group or their activities. Rimmers 17:47, 29 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

yeh theres a dvd coming out at christmas time —Preceding unsigned comment added by 64.113.191.13 (talk) 17:41, 1 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The tour is going to be televised next year aswell as a documentary made, so it'll probably be released on DVD aswell. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Wneedham02 (talkcontribs) 11:54, 4 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Sold Out[edit]

The articles should say which concerts have been sold out.

- I agree. It says vaguely but doesn't really give individual details. And what happened to the setlist?? - MegaZega93 —Preceding unsigned comment added by MegaZega93 (talkcontribs) 21:20, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Toronto Code[edit]

My Toronto code was sent on the October 20 night not the 21. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.141.14.152 (talk) 11:55, 23 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Rescheduled concerts[edit]

A few weeks ago, it was stated in the article that the Cologne concert would be rescheduled. Now there's nothing about it. What's the story behind this - will it be rescheduled or not? Utelias 18:31, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

According to the official website, the Spice Girls are playing in Cologne on December 20th. - ǀ Mikay ǀ 19:01, 25 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

medan[edit]

a concert will be held in medan? is this confirmed? so weird

Extra date in Montréal[edit]

ElderGods (talk) 00:28, 5 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gilette Entertaiment confirmed that the Spice Girls are in fact stopping by Montréal on Jan 29 for a concert. --ElderGods 15:44, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a reliable source to prove that, go ahead and add it to the article. Be bold! *Cremepuff222* 22:08, 4 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Of course i do! It was all over the news!

Brazil[edit]

Sorry but no Brazilian shows had been confirmed yet, this should be cuted out, unless someone has a reliable source 20:02, 13 December 2007

England Leg[edit]

What was the point deleting the section on who was spotted at the concerts and the info like when the Spice children came on stage in England? It was a really nice thing to have on the page and it's really selfish to delete it! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Snailsarefriends (talkcontribs) 10:01, 20 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, some people spent a lot of effort into creating this page and now it is taken off! And it was interesting to know who went and done what! —Preceding unsigned comment added by DoctorStrange7 (talkcontribs)

Number of Tickets sold[edit]

Is it possible for anyone to figure out the number of tickets sold over the course of their reunion concert?Jory330 (talk) 21:09, 27 March 2008 (UTC)Jordan[reply]

Setlist dispute[edit]

I've been watching this page for a while, and I gotta say, I don't understand why this keeps occuring. The setlist that KieferSuth1985Marx uses is much more substantial, and sourced as well. Can any others show why it should be made shorter? SKS2K6 (talk) 05:15, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist KieferSuth1985Marxuses may be more specific, however, the issue is the setlist is inconsistent with the format of the other three Spice Girls shows' setlists. The other three setlists are simple and easy to follow (as this one should be). The way it appears is too disorganized for one to actually REMEMBER the setlist. There are too many bullet points and there are even small inconsistencies in those. Why name three Spice Girls with first and last names and the other two with only first name and last initial? There is also an error. The whole song of "If U Can't Dance" is not performed. It is shortened for an introduction. It is simply the chorus sung five or so times through and nothing more. This setlist does not recognize that.

The simpler it is, the easier it is to remember. Video introductions and dancer interludes are not included in other setlists for the Spice Girls and it just makes the list harder to remember. The important thing in a concert setlist is the songs that are performed and their order. So, including the important things in a simple fashion (one song per line, simple parenthesis if needed, no bullet points making it appear longer) will make it easier for a viewer (who doesn't know the set list by heart yet like the rest of us who are obsessed) to remember it easier. Seeing 27 lines with bullet points and specifics will make it harder on the memory for a viewer who wants to try and remember the setlist.

JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 10:55, 9 April 2008 (CST)

That may be true, and I do agree with it somewhat, but Wikipedia is not about having information that is easy to remember. Why should that matter? To me, a version in between the two would serve best, showing all the information but in a more succinct manner. SKS2K6 (talk) 17:07, 9 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The setlist that KieferSuth1985Marx its just a mess and annoying to look at. It just doesn't seem organize and also does reflects the different sections of the concert. Lecarlos (talk) 05:26, 10 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I posted a compromise version of the setlist as of the timing of this post and hopefully we can agree on this and not change it. JLKTENNIS43 (talk) 5:51, 16 April 2008 (CST)

Tags[edit]

I am afraid that I have had to slap rather a lot of templates on this article and rip out a lot of unreferenced trivia. This leaves the article looking a bit sad but I am confident that most of the issues are easy to deal with (referencing the set lists for example) so hopefully they won't be there for long. --DanielRigal (talk) 18:16, 29 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Return or "The" Return of the Spice Girls.[edit]

Should the word "The" be added to the page title? The logo for the tour features in various videos on their official website and includes "The" as part of the logo. So what do we think?

AnimatedZebra (talk) 12:58, 17 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should!--DoctorStrange (talk) 22:19, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Reference list[edit]

The spicenews.com links in the reference list don't work for me! Does it work for anyone else?--DoctorStrange (talk) 22:21, 21 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

They both work for me DoctorStrange, although I can't understand why the text for the last few posts has shrunk :( AnimatedZebra (talk) 14:49, 30 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Return of the Spice GirlsThe Return of the Spice Girls

  • "The" should be added to the title as it's already shown on their website numerous times; See one example here. Sorry in advanced if this next sentance shouldn't be written but the last few posts on the articles' discussion page appear to have shrunk the text automatically and any further ones do it also. Can anyone fix? AnimatedZebra (talk) 12:48, 17 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
