Do Hollywood and Ode to Idaho count as released singles?[edit]

Even though they haven't been released physically yet, they have been performed live before, which is a form of "releasing". Considering that we know that they will be on the album and not released as seperate songs, should they count as released singles? PhilrocMy contribs 17:09, 30 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I can tell, live performances of songs are not usually considered a form of single release on Wikipedia album pages. Even though announcing a song as a new album track is somewhat promotional even in a live setting, debuting a song live should not necessarily be equated with a commercial release (which seems to be what the section mainly refers to). Move parts of the introduction?[edit]

It might just be me, but reading the introduction I felt that sentences five and six ("The album was first teased...and the release date.") feel a bit out of place and could be moved to the Release and Promotion section. Dansande Björn (talk) 08:24, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]

GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)

The vast majority of the article meets the good article criteria.

  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
The article is written in good English and the subjects involved are well introduced to the reader. Apart from 2-D at the end of the lead: whilst his article is linked, who he is isn't explained. British English must also be used in this article, yet the standard (normalised) score is refered to as normalized (American English).

  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
Very well referenced reliable sources, no original research, copyvio or plagiarism. However, the "release formats" section is completely unreferenced, and may be unnecessary to include.
    Since fixed Lazz_R 11:58, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
The article addresses all of the main aspects of the subject and consistently stays on topic, with no tangents unrelated to the album.
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
The article is written with a neutral point of view with no bias, even in its critical reception section.
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
Article is stable with no edit wars.
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
a (images are tagged and non-free content have fair use rationales): b (appropriate use with suitable captions):
Whilst the article has a small amount of images, the album cover and promotional logo are sufficient for illustrating the article subject. The images are appropriately used and have suitable captions where they are needed.
  7. Overall:
    Pass/Fail:
The article vastly passes the good article criteria, however the minor problems must be fixed for it to become a listed as a good article.
Following the nominator's changes, the article passes the good article criteria. Lazz_R 11:58, 31 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
