[mistaken identity][edit]

The Robert E. Bonner who edited the New York Ledger, and who was a major figure in the rise of "publicity" (the deliberate seeking of publicity as a promotional technique), is not either of the Robert Bonners linked to from the main article page. I'm deleting the link. My information about Robert E. Bonner comes from reading William Charvat's _The Profession of Authorship_ (1968); see page references to Robert E. Bonner in the index. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 75.193.64.174 (talk) 01:33, 15 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rename The New York Ledger[edit]

Sources now cited in ref notes 2 and 3 both give official title The New York Ledger. So it appears that this article should be renamed--exchanged with the redirect The New York Ledger. --P64 (talk) 01:29, 22 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
