U.S. Ratings Table[edit]

Why can't I add U.S. ratings table? There is more to TV ratings in the U.S. than just the number of viewers watching each episode. The U.S. also has the rating/share of households and rating/share of the age demographic 18-49. The 18-49 age demographic is actually more important to networks in the U.S. than the total number of viewers watching each episode. The Nielsen ratings page has a lot of information on the importance of rating/share.129.62.200.171 (talk) 05:21, 14 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Recurring cast[edit]

Removed Whitford from this list, as he only appears in one episode Jomunro (talk) 22:42, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

He probably only got on there because someone put the character of Red John on as part of the recurring cast, which is a move I've always personally been curious about. KnownAlias X 22:49, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Some websites have him uncredited as appearing in the Season Two finale ... it does sound like him when comparing the voice of Whitford in the Season Three finale, but I can't find a RS that documents this. — Preceding unsigned comment added by HammerFilmFan (talkcontribs) 18:23, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Uncredited being the point. And even if it counts, that means he was in one season 2 episode and one season 3 episode, making him at best a guest in both seasons (this is a season article; the debate as to whether he qualifies as a recurring character on the main page or main list page would lie on whether that uncredited credit counts). But my argument before was that Red John, not Bradley Whitford, was credited in the recurring cast, and you simply can't credit a character as a cast member. Jomunro was right; Bradley Whitford debuted in "Strawberries and Cream" this season, and thus cannot be recurring in season 3. Depending how they use him in season 4 now that the character's exposed himself, that matter can be revisited for next season's article. KnownAlias X 18:36, 25 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Colour contrast problems[edit]

It seems that this article is using colours in the infobox which don't satisfy Wikipedia's accessibility guidelines. The contrast between the foreground colour and the background colour is low, which means that it may be difficult or impossible for people with visual impairments to read it.

To correct this problem, a group of editors have decided to remove support for invalid colours from Template:Infobox television season and other television season templates after 1 September 2015. If you would still like to use custom colours for the infobox and episode list in this article after that date, please ensure that the colours meet the WCAG AAA standard.

To test whether a colour combination is AAA-compliant you can use Snook's colour contrast tool. If your background colour is dark, then please test it against a foreground colour of "FFFFFF" (white). If it is light, please test it against a foreground colour of "000000" (black). The tool needs to say "YES" in the box for "WCAG 2 AAA Compliant" when you input the foreground and the background colour. You can generally make your colour compliant by adjusting the "Value (%)" fader in the middle box.

Please be sure to change the invalid colour in every place that it appears, including the infobox, the episode list, and the series overview table. If you have any questions about this, please ask on Template talk:Infobox television season. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 05:30, 2 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
