Collaboration drive to improve to Good Article status[edit]

I'd like to improve this article to Good Article status. Right now, the difficulty with this particular game is that it is simply an addon to an existing game (A Link to the Past) and so there is not as much information available for this game specifically. Let's do it! Also, ALTTP related material that is not necessarily 4swords specific can still be used. SWATJester Son of the Defender 23:18, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Alright—I'm going to be expanding existing sections with the existing references for now, and then I'll see how far that brings me. Gary King (talk) 23:28, 6 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Box Art and Broken Links[edit]

I fixed broken links all over other Legend of Zelda articles in order for them to link to this page. I also uploaded the official box art for the game, since it was missing from this page. I think that this article deserves to be promoted, since there is not much more information available. Kevinmontalktrib 21:03, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for doing that. However, I disagree that it's ready to be promoted; the reception section is not near complete. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 21:27, 31 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
The Reception section looks complete to me, what else is there to add? Kevinmontalktrib 21:27, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
You are commenting on a post from more then 2 months ago. Recently, the article has gone under a lot of expansion. The reception section is now probably complete. Blake (Talk·Edits) 21:30, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Well, I still have to go through some more reviews in MC, as well as Google Books, Google News, and the Video Games Reliable References search. It's definitely sizable, to be sure. - The New Age Retro Hippie used Ruler! Now, he can figure out the length of things easily. 22:04, 13 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Music credits[edit]

Per discussion at WP:VG located here, there is a consensus that it does not matter if the music was created specifically for the remake/remaster or if it was just composed for the original game and brought into the remake unchanged; its still the work of the respective composer being used in the game, and as such, they should still be listed. That would make edits like this against consensus.

Both parties who keep making this edit have refused to engage in discussion. As such, the consensus has not changed. Do not make these edits anymore unless a new consensus is found. Continuing to edit against consensus will lead to being blocked from editing. Thanks. Sergecross73 msg me 12:51, 26 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of Koji Kondo from the list as per wikipedia standards.[edit]

It has come to my attention that Kondo is credited despite the fact that he did NOT compose for this particular por. Koji Kondo composed music for A Link to the Past... NOT for A Link to the Past and Four Swords. There is a complete difference. His compositions are simply reused/remastered and unless more than one compositions are new then only Takehara should only be credited in accordance to wikipedia standards. Thank you. 27.96.204.95 (talk) 02:05, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

See section directly above. Thank you. Sergecross73 msg me 03:15, 3 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
