Lots of unsourced stuff. It seems to be from Anthony MacMurray's CV and an outdated Channel 4 page. The show is now online on All4 as a two-episode series; all sources I can find allude to that pair (plus a pilot). I think the two-episode series might be an abridged mix of a five-episode E4 run, but can't confirm. I'm not sure there ever was an eight-episode series.
