Excellent series, but where to obtain?[edit]

I have seen both this and the Disney version of Jungle Book. This one is by far the much better of the two adaptations. This anime version of The Jungle Book depicts Mowgli's adventures in a much grittier and graver fashion, which clearly shows the struggle of Mowgli the man-cub as he learns to grow and become strong. I remember getting quite scared watching this at the age of 5.

It would be a shame to let such a great series vanish out of existence. Does anyone know where and how Jungle Book Shonen can be obtained? --Waterchan 01:32, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I, too, found the series to be quite intense, having watched it at an early age. Twipley (talk) 16:29, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Found them[edit]

Well I've found months ago, but be prepared to shell out some good amount of cash. http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-a7-49-en-70-q5u.html

I couldn't even find a single episode off the internet for download. I only got Episode 49 from a friend who owns the whole series on VHS and DVD on multiple languages. I had to bug him for that episode, since I missed that on local TV (I regret doing so!).

I've heard that some Italian versions (Il Libro Della Giungla) are circulating on eMule. Not that I would ever advocate illegal file sharing, of course... :-| —Preceding unsigned comment added by Lee M (talkcontribs) 11:19, 20 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Of course, the Japanese version should be preferable over any other ones, for various reasons. The only issue being, the "play-asia" link not mentioning any subtitle presence altogether... Twipley (talk) 16:27, 6 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Confirmed US DVD release, probably just the English dub version, but still... http://tvshowsondvd.com/news/Jungle-Book-Adventures-Mowgli-Complete-Collection/18176 --75.130.165.135 (talk) 23:11, 11 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
