Factual error?[edit]

I contacted the BBC and asked whether it was true that the BBC was planning to stop producing "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries" or not. According to BBC information, no official decision has been made regarding the future of "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries". In this Wikipedia article it is stated that the BBC in August 2007 "announced its intention to no longer make episodes of "The Inspector Lynley Mysteries." How can this be if the BBC's press office in an e-mail dated 24.10.2007 states that "no official decision has been made regarding the future of the series"? The PBS webpage, when discussing the seventh season, intimates this is the end of the series by stating "An old, unsolved and very personal case, and a new one involving the possibility of a serial killer in suburban London draw Lynley and Havers into action one last time."[1] The Wall Street Journal also noted in a recent article the series was ending; however, that article is not available in their free section online. 71.175.28.241 (talk) 11:22, 7 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
