Notability[edit]

What makes this hotel specially notable, beyond the mention it gets on the article for the hotel chain? It mentions the Grove Hotel - was this architecturally or historically significant? From what I can find, it wasn't - it was a low-income SRO from its construction in 1907 to the early 2000s, then got used as transitional housing for people leaving the prison system for a few years while the city tried to find a new developer (which, after a few false starts, eventually wound up as the Hoxton).
