Why the disambiguation[edit]

Why is the title of the article "Greg Kihn Band (band)" instead of just "Greg Kihn Band"? The "Greg Kihn Band" article is just a redirect here, so there's no disambiguation at work that I can tell. --Lkseitz (talk) 21:32, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Merge[edit]

Why are they suggesting that they merge this article into Greg Kihn? It was the band, not the singer, that had all the big hits. Kihn himself is mostly remembered for his presence in this band. His solo work has gone largely unnoticed by everyone except for critics and die-hard fans. If anything, Greg Kihn should be merged into this article. Rdbrewster ♪♫♪ 15:09, 7 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Mass Deletion[edit]

This article is almost entirely undocumented. Further, the prose style is similar to the Greg Kihn article, including some word for word replication. The personal article is wholly undocumented. The similarities and the (restrained) positive/PR tone of the article indicated it was written by someone favorably disposed, if not directly connected, the to the subject(s).

For this reason unless some knowledgeable person documents the article(s), I intend to shrink both to stub status, leaving the discographies intact.

I like Greg Kihn and his music, but this IS an encyclopedia, not a publicity venue. Regards Tapered (talk) 03:16, 9 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
