The Girl of the Golden West (disambiguation) → The Girl of the Golden West – Both The Girl of the Golden West and Girl of the Golden West are redirects to the opera La fanciulla del West which is translated in the article's lead sentence as The Girl of the West, not The Girl of the Golden West. On the other hand, The Girl of the Golden West (disambiguation) page lists six entries bearing the title The Girl of the Golden West and one entry titled Girl of the Golden West. At the top of the dab page, the primary topic is already indicated as "La fanciulla del West (The Girl of the Golden West) is a 1910 opera by Giacomo Puccini, adapted from Belasco's play", thus there is no need for The Girl of the Golden West and Girl of the Golden West to also redirect to the opera. In the event that consensus might emerge for the move of the opera article's header, La fanciulla del West → The Girl of the Golden West, then of course that would be the primary topic, rather than a putative primary redirect, and the dab page header would need to remain as The Girl of the Golden West (disambiguation). — Roman Spinner (talk • contribs) 00:52, 20 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
