Bionics?[edit]

I didn't watch this show as a kid. I kinda think someone went tongue in cheek for the second sentence under the PLOT heading. "However, for reasons unknown, he never uses the bionic powers in his two legs, right arm and left eye." 24-08-11 — Preceding unsigned comment added by 24.246.91.208 (talk) 20:24, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The truck?[edit]

For crying out loud, is a whole section about the bloody truck really necessary?79.66.117.111 (talk) 22:51, 17 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Re: The Truck[edit]

Yes it is necessary because it is the main reason kids watched the show. ( I was one of those kids!) There were many toys and model kits made of this truck because of its popularity. The truck was as important to Fall Guy as the General Lee Dodge Charger was to the Dukes of Hazzard.Jwess (talk) 20:48, 19 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The problem is that most of the section about the truck is unsourced (granted, so is most of the rest of the article), and there is more about the truck in this article than there is about the plot of the series. Nor is anything said in this article about the characters played by Jo Ann Pflug, Markie Post, and Nedra Volz other than their character names. --Metropolitan90 (talk) 07:08, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
First, I doubt the assertion that the truck was "the main reason kids watched the show". E. g. I couldn't have cared less about it, especially the technical details as given here. There would have to be a source explaining the importance, not only some personal observation, to justify an article where the description of one piece of equipment is longer than the whole plot section, and characters are not handled at all. This doesn't even happen in Knight Rider, where a short two-sentence paragraph is enough to describe the vehicle, and there it was a co star. I will shorten this. --131.169.89.168 (talk) 16:12, 4 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
You would be wrong. I came to this article to read about the truck, and yes that’s why a lot of kids watched was because of the truck. Paige Matheson (talk) 16:56, 10 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Use of other movies in the show[edit]

Shouldn't there be a mention of how often the shows used clups from other movies, such as Avalanche, or The Soldier ? I know this was a practice used by many series of the day (a clip from Airplane! was featured in an episode of The A-Team, for example), but never was this so evident than in The Fall Guy. Also a reference to the fact that during the intro, a blooper from Singing in the Rain (when the stuntman standing in for Gene Kelly misses Debbie Reynolds's car) is used? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.120.11.123 (talk) 16:44, 15 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Clu Gulager as actor[edit]

No mention here (yet) of Clu_Gulager but see his credits for this and other work with Lee Marvin

Song changes[edit]

The song in the pilot episode is nearly 3 minutes long, while in the rest of the episodes it's shortened by over a minute. The pilot was 1:20 while the regular episodes ran a bit over 45 minutes. Bizzybody (talk) 07:55, 30 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Why so many deletions of information?[edit]

Why has this article had been butchered and is now missing tons of confirmed information? 70.186.248.118 (talk) 23:22, 15 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
