On 20 March 2024, it was proposed that this article be moved from The Face (TV series) to The Face (franchise). The result of the discussion was moved.

Flags[edit]

Are all these flags really needed? The page seems messy.

Using flags is only needed when contestants are representing their own country in a competition (like Asia's Next Top Model) in my opinion. And in The Face that is not the case.

Relation to The Face of Holland[edit]

The lede said: "The Face of Holland, created and distributed internationally by Talpa Media under the name The Look, have no connections with the version of The Face created by Naomi Campbell."

The "worldwide" section, however, lists "The Face of Holland" as the "original".

The Face and all its incarnations under Naomi Campbell were created as a result of The Dutch version. Essentially they are completely different shows. It could be noted that that is where the show got its roots, but the original for this franchise began in the United States. All of the versions following the one in the Netherlands are all part of Shine Group I believe, while The Face of Holland is not. 71.239.172.110 (talk) 03:32, 26 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

[1] If The Face is an adaptation of Dutch The Look, it should be mentioned in Talpa Copyright Holder page. Somebody tries to add it to table indeed. Talpa and Shine Intl. are way different. If there have the connection between US and the Netherlands', it is not hard to find out. Try your best and tell me if you find any legal info. That source does not indicate that The Face is an adaptation of The Look. In fact, it says the format is "Sold in: The Netherlands", which implies that the same format was not sold to the other countries. Do we have a more definitive source? —sroc 💬 03:39, 27 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Timeline should be noticed: The Face US (2013), The Face of Holland/The Look (2012). 1/ If The Face is an adaptation of The Look, why THE HECK is The Face not mentioned as an adaptation. And is the name 'The Look' too hard to spell or to expensive to accompany 'The Face' word? Why do The Face Aus and The Face UK always admit its connection with The Face US, but not The Face of Holland/The Look? And if The Face is an adaptation of The Face of Holland/The Look, why is US (even a biggest market in the world) not mentioned in buying market. Editing this article[edit]

A Thai editor named Golf-ben10 always deny my edits and undo them. He added flags to his people but when I added the flags to my people, he ignored and undid all. I wonder why he did that, he want to show off that his country has a lot of people bringing two bloodlines? He's a bad person and if it's possible, I propose to block him from editing this article. This is not the first time he sabotage the others' contributions. I saw the article history and it showed he had sabotaged many times before. I expect the administrators to block him. i'm agree with you, this Thai editor spam on The Face, The Face TH and The Face Men TH pages everyday. he also spam on Thai pages before but i'm not see him edit on Thai pages long time. maybe they're blocked him, can someone block him on English page too?Anybodyfitfit (talk) 18:19, 3 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
