Deprod reasons[edit]

I found enough articles to show that the film is happening and that filming has finished (said production in the deprod comment, but meant to say shooting). I'm not sure if finishing shooting combined with the articles is enough to make it pass WP:NFF, though. The horror and musical spheres seem to be falling all over themselves due to the people involved in the project (much of the cast from REPO! and a lot of popular singers), so there's a lot of mini articles out there. This might be something best brought up to AfD, to be honest. If it is and it doesn't pass, I'd be willing to userfy the article.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 19:03, 14 February 2012 (UTC)tokyogirl79[reply]

Spoilers[edit]

Now I know that Wikipedia is of the opinion that spoilers shouldn't be avoided, but in this case the people who created the film has openly stated on their website that they do not want spoilers to be published on the internet until a certain point in time, which I believe is at some point after they finish their run. I've whittled down the plot section a little, trying to make it informative but still as non-spoilerish as possible. I also saw that some of it was a little OR-ish and while I agree with that interpretation, it's still an interpretation and not very neutral. We've got to be careful about that sort of stuff. I'm trying not to sound like I'm getting all WP:OWN with the article, but I want to make sure that we respect the requests of Bousman and Zdunich while still having an informative article.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 05:44, 24 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

On certain citations[edit]

There are a few facts that supposedly need citations--for example, the reason "In All My Dreams I Drown" didn't make it into the final cut of the film. Those were things that Terrance and Darren actually said themselves at the live showings, so people who were at one can verify. (I myself was at the Kansas City one.) How would something like that be cited? I know it's a fact; it came directly from the creators. I just don't think they actually have it written down anywhere. 70.166.133.20 (talk) 01:54, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

  • The thing is, you're not a reliable source. You're not a newspaper, or a notable person, or any of the things that Wikipedia considers to be a reliable source. You're "just" a fan who overheard something that was supposedly said at one or more showings of the film. We can't consider heresay a reliable source. The creators themselves would have to write it down somewhere or they'd have to state this in an interview with a reliable source. A reliable source would be say, Dread Central, the New York Times, or Bloody Disgusting. 99.9% of the blogs out there are not reliable. It doesn't matter if the blog has video footage of Terrance and Darren stating this, it's still not considered to be a reliable source per Wikipedia's standards, which are insanely strict. Even a YouTube video of the two of them talking would have to have been released by them or by someplace like Dread Central. You can't just claim whatever and say that you're a reliable source because that's not how it works. Fans can claim whatever they want, but that doesn't mean that it's considered to be reliable per Wikipedia. It's nothing against anyone, just that until it's recorded in official and reliable sources, it has to be marked as "citation needed" and even then we have to keep the uncited stuff to a minimum. • And on top of that, even then it's be considered a primary source that can't show notability and are generally frowned upon. If they did do post this stuff, it'd have to be on something such as Zdunich's website. Social media sites such as Facebook are almost entirely unusable as sources in any aspect. Like I said, it's pretty strict and the only way to guarantee that a source is completely usable is to do an interview with a site like BD.Tokyogirl79 (talk) 05:42, 30 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Track listing[edit]

The track listing for the album lists the singers as writers, but the template seems to allow no easy fix. Suggestions? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 144.32.60.66 (talk) 18:49, 18 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
