This article was already tagged by another editor, and I have highlighted exactly why. On reflection, it does appear to read like something straight out of a school brochure, without any attempt at providing references. For example, if the Ofstead report is so good, why isn't it cited? - it's really easy enough. The article may need substantially neutralising to conform strictly to Wikipedia policy.--Kudpung (talk) 08:27, 13 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Despite the tagging and polite messages to the article creator(s), there have been no atempts to address the issues so i have moved most of the offending items to here and demoted the article to stub class:
  • The school has a great tradition of athletic and sporting success. Drama is very strong in the school, both in the high quality of productions and the excellence of results. Music is also flourishing with a woodwind ensemble, windband and large choir. There are exchange links with France and Spain. Parties regularly travel abroad for study visits, along with skiing, hockey and soccer trips.
  • The School's results in KS3 Tests are well above national average. Over the past 5 years examination results at GCSE have risen steadily to match national averages. In 2002 45% of students obtained 5 or more A*-C grades, 92% 5 or more A*-G grades and 99% 1 or more A*-G grades. The School's Sixth Form continues to expand steadily and over the past 3 years we have averaged a pass rate of over 90% at A-Level and an average points score of 15.7. The School is very enthusiastic about encouraging its pupils to take part in public examinations.

Proposed deletion of Evesham High School[edit]

The article Evesham High School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Institution no longer exists and article has no sources after the first paragraph so information is unverifiable and likely highly incorrect and outdated.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. 46.28.53.172 (talk) 19:21, 1 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]
