Spanish Civil War[edit]

Although it IS clearly about Spain, Greene is very careful not to give any definite indication of which country the civil war is in. Shouldn't the article reflect that? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.224.54.188 (talk) 16:24, 30 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Though Greene doesn't name the country, when the chauffeur tries to rob 'D' in the hotel lavatory 'D' is insulted as a Dago, suggesting he is Spanish, Italian or Portuguese. TheRetroGuy (talk) 14:58, 19 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
