The Commitments band[edit]

So what is the relationship between "The Commitments" the touring group, and the actors from the movie? Are they the same people, or are they mostly the same people, with a few substitutions.. or a completely different group? Their website is unclear about this. I'm also curious about who performed on the soundtrack album. --64.26.161.135 02:37, 17 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The commitments touring group has some of the original actors mixed with other musicians. and it is the actors in the "Commitments" film that recorded most of the soundtrack. the booklet has more details on that.

here, what's happening to some decent discussion about the film?!! e.g 1 billion people have seen it. When they toured in the US, Wilson Pickett joined then on stage. Before "Goodfellows" it was the movie with the most cuss words ever. When it first went to the States, it had to be subtitled because the Yanks couldn't understand the Dublin accent

There should be a disambiguation link to the band as well. extraordinary (talk) 12:26, 18 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]
