Entire summary is POV. Needs to be rewritten to remove the snide self-righteous commentary.

I've rewritten the entire article from scratch (even without the POV issues, the summary was inaccurate), added several sections, infoboxed the book, and added reference notes where appropriate. Chris Stangl 11:57, 28 May 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:The Colorado Kid.jpg[edit]

Image:The Colorado Kid.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 03:38, 6 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Claim that Colorado kid is the first book published after the dark tower finale[edit]

The next dark tower book is due on March 12, 2012. Obviously Colorado kid was published before then.

Even if this were not the case (perhaps an argument could be made selectively combining the time line of real life and the time line of the books), it is unclear why a stand alone sentence in the opening paragraph of the Colorado Kid entry is appropriate. Dark Tower 7 is the finale of the series. The Wind Through the Keyhole is a prequel. Jmj713 (talk) 19:23, 13 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Television adaptation[edit]

As far as I know Haven hasn't been cancelled so why is it written:

"It has continued for four seasons."

Past tense sounding as though it has ended.

Heaven help us. You need to brush up those English skills. That is not the past tense, and it in no way indicates the ending of anything. On the contrary, it indicates that as of the date written, the series was ongoing into the indefinite future. 12.233.147.42 (talk) 20:56, 24 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The Somerton Man[edit]

Is it worth mentioning the book is based on the Taman Shud case from South Australia in 1948? The article for the case mentions the Colorado Kid is based on the it, but no such mention is made in the article about the book itself.203.220.212.117 (talk) 07:25, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
