"put him away"? What does that mean, exactly?

What are you talking about? Cyberia23 09:13, 31 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

The name "Jackson Roykirk" should probably be changed to "Jackson Roy Kirk." Nomad doesn't refer to Kirk as "Roykirk," but as "Creator Kirk" in the auxiliary control room. He also says "You are the Kirk," not "You are the Roykirk." —Preceding unsigned comment added by Comicsfan (talkcontribs) 10:48, 12 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Some fans[edit]

Do we really need to know what 'some fans' call the first Trek movie?

Probably not. Xaver David (talk) 13:06, 28 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Metric[edit]

Was this the episode where Star Trek switched to using metric exclusively? —Sladen (talk) 23:54, 16 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yes it was (at least when watched in airdate sequence). I had that in a long time ago; I think someone took it out as unsourced trivia. Daniel Case (talk) 14:42, 9 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Other =TONRU[edit]

The captions transliterate "the other probe" as "TONRU", not Tan-Ru. SalineBrain (talk) 08:06, 11 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
