Dunder Mifflin[edit]

I am going through several articles and changing instances of "Dunder-Mifflin" to "Dunder Mifflin" (no hyphen) as it is the proper "spelling" of the company name (see Talk page at Dunder Mifflin). Just leaving a note to say that I've gone through this page. :) Fieryrogue 16:08, 24 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Jenna Fischer Blog links[edit]

Some, or all of them seem to be broken, can someone fix this? Or can they just be deleted?

TVGuide likes to change its links around. A little searching will find them. Fix them up as you find them. -- Raymondc0 17:12, 1 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

sidebar episode list link error[edit]

the list of episodes in the sidebar has an error for the link to the episode "take your daughter to work day." clicking the title links to the wikipedia article on the day itself, rather than the office episode. the link should be changed to "Take Your Daughter to Work Day (The Office episode)|Take Your Daughter to Work Day". but i couldn't figure out how to edit the sidebar. hopefully someone else might see this and figure it out. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.12.165.228 (talk) 18:06, 20 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted scenes[edit]

Moved to talk because it seems like a trivia section RJFJR (talk) 04:31, 30 March 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Season Two DVD contains a number of deleted scenes from this episode. Notable cut scenes include: {{Prose|date=January 2008}}

  • Dwight believes that a higher power brought Michael to his desk.
  • Angela and Kevin speculate on the culprit.
  • Jim can't handle Kelly's chattering.
  • Jim eats lunch by himself in his car.
  • Michael can't complete a sale.
  • Michael steals a crumpet from Dwight.
  • Dwight and Angela have a secret conversation in the kitchen. *
  • Michael remembers his best friend ever.

*In the shooting script, there was a scene involving Dwight and Angela where Dwight was defending his sales techniques. In place of Angela saying, "You could outsell Michael any day", originally she said, "I'm late." This was going to leave viewers speculating on whether or not Angela was pregnant but Greg Daniels decided against it at the last minute.[citation needed]

Comments

  • In the infobox, "The Office" should be in italics
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Where are production codes and running times referenced?
    Added.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Unlink television series per WP:OVERLINK
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "twentieth" should be "20th", as per WP:MOSNUM
I can't find this anywhere in MOSNUM. As long as I'm consistent, it shouldn't be a big deal.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In this episode, In this episode," hum...
    Fixed.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "a disgusting" I don't think that represents a neutral point of view, as a requirement of the GA criteria. Could that be changed, as in your opinion, it is "disgusting"
I don't think this is non-NPOV. Someone crapped in his office, which is universally considered disgusting.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "first and only" shouldn't episode be added after that
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "In its" in should be upon
    Fixed.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "For a time," well, when then?
    Reworded.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Are there any images of people related, perhaps?
    Added a picture of Paul Lieberstein.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Unlink American per WP:OVERLINK in cultural references
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "an American reality television" actually, unlink reality television there, as its first link is above, also in cultural references, thus a WP:OVERLINK violation
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "NBC" should be written out fully as "the National Broadcasting Company (NBC)" on first mention, per MOS:ACRO
It's mentioned in the intro, and that should be enough (and that's been fine and good for all other Office GAs).--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link Television Without Pity per WP:UNDERLINK
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "The episode was viewed by 8.6 million viewers.[9] The episode", that changed be changed to something else, the second part, two of "the episode"'s sentence before sentence doesn't seem right
    Reworded.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • "Furthermore, the episode was particularly popular with fans of the series, particularly college students" reference?
    It's Ref. 13. I bundled the references.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Double quotes (") should be single quotes (') in reference titles in this article, as per WP:MOS
    I believe it's all better now.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link NBC in all reference titles
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Link NBC.com in external links
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
  • Categories should be sorted in alphabetical order
    Done.--Gen. Quon (Talk) 00:52, 22 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
