1978 revision[edit]

Rewrite, Citation, and Expansion[edit]

This article is poorly developed/sourced, and needs to be rewritten/expanded. Considering the high importance of the novel and its legacy, It's surprising to see the article in such a state. There is a great deal of information missing from the article. This missing information includes those on the novel's plot, development, legacy, and references/influences in popular culture. This all needs to be added to the article with proper citations from reliable sources. The reception section is poorly developed and needs to be rewritten and formatted. There are so many things that needs to be done to this article in order for it to reach its full potential. Hopefully someone comes along and give this article the attention it needs.--Paleface Jack 17:45, 2 February 2018 (UTC)
