"the 8 movies to pair Karloff & Lugosi"[edit]

It would be very interesting to list these eight (if they were eight indeed, I don't know it) films which featured Messrs. Boris Karloff and Bela Lugosi. --h_a 00:07, 2 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There also were Gift of Gab and You'll Find Out, but the pair only cameoed in the former, and the latter was a comedy. I assume that's where the original figure came from. --Popplewick (talk) 22:03, 3 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Legacy of Great War[edit]

Isn't this movie also an expression of the legacy of the Great War, the Armageddon crucible of the 20th Century? A monumental satanic horror show that was spawning further demonic horrors of revenge and retribution in the vein of Hitler at the time the film was made. In that sense the movie was a worthy allegory and excellent expression of the zeitgeist of this period.Tom Cod (talk) 19:48, 20 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
