Editing "The A21 Campaign" page[edit]

Hello! As part of a project for a course I am currently enrolled in, I will be working on editing and modifying this article. Before going ahead and making edits, I'd like to list on what I intend to address over the next few weeks:

  • basic copyediting- I've spotted some grammatical errors and redundancies that I'd like to clear up
  • Work towards a more neutral and encyclopedic tone (certain passages lack neutrality)
  • Reword/reorganize the titles of headings/sub-headings for clarification purposes
  • move paragraphs around so they go under appropriate headings

I will add more onto this list as I continue to work on this article, in order to keep everyone aware of the changes I am making. Looking forward to working with fellow Wikipedians! SeeleMeer (talk) 06:42, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Gallery[edit]

The Gallery section contains videos directly from A21 about the work they are doing. I wonder if this is appropriate for maintaining a neutral tone? Sourcing videos directly from the Campaign doesn't seem neutral to me, but it was difficult to find unbiased informational videos to put in the Gallery. Anyone else have thoughts on this? @SeeleMeer: Hi! I was the one who added the videos. I think that having media in this article improves its quality, even though if it may not be optimal under WP:NEUTRAL to have videos from the Campaign or affiliates associated with the Campaign. The media is on Wikimedia Commons because it is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. It fits the criteria under Wikipedia:Image dos and don'ts. Thus, it satisfies the latter two criteria & makes the article of more interest. Peaceray (talk) 02:40, 23 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
@Peaceray: I'm going to second SeeleMeer's concern about the videos as well as @Drmies: removal of them. While you've satisfied the rights-issue, the videos don't satisfy WP:NPOV or WP:NOT
