The Journal of Curious Letters merge[edit]

The The Journal of Curious Letters as it currently stands would work better in this article -- right now it is just too week to stand alone. -- 208.81.184.4 (talk) 15:47, 13 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I agree. The Journal of Curious Letters is the title of the first book in the 13th Reality series, so a redirect from the Journal article title to this article might be a good solution. Azurengar (talk) 20:18, 30 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lead[edit]

Volume by volume titles and release dates do not belong in the lead --paragraph, probably not section-- except probably the inaugural Journal of Curious Letters, 2008. The lead should say more about the fiction --fantasy or science fiction of what sort (time travel?), children of what age (teen characters? reading level?)-- or why the work is important, if it is. --P64 (talk) 19:06, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Illustrators[edit]

From ISFDB[1][2] and John Picacio's online portfoliotop page! I know that he did the Aladdin Paperbacks "alternate cover" of the first book and I judge that did all four Aladdin paperbacks and their "box". [3]

We label the13threality.com "official website" (publisher's site, evidently). It features the original cover of book onetop page with footer note that credits "Illustrations (c) 2007 Bryan Beus". The note may not pertain to cover illustrations: "About the Books" evidently shows black-and-white interior and color cover art side by side, above the same footer note, yet the cover is that alternate by Picacio.

ISFDB for book one only[4] and Kirkus Reviews for book two only[5] identify interior artist Bryan Beus.
