Link mentions of Cal Poly to Wikipedia entry on Cal Poly

Very good overall, but I need to see specific links to determine appropriateness of paraphrase from source material

There's a conspicuous absence of non-cal poly sources. Try at least for a newspaper story. Other sources are books in the archives about the history of cal poly.

I've made some edits to clean up the prose, but three issues remain

The sources of the indented quotes need to be cited. The original photo has been removed because you havent filled out the proper form. Footnote 8 is wrongly placed and nothing refers to it.

If these are corrected grade changed to B. As is, C+ Rudolph2007 (talk) 16:56, 1 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect University Title[edit]

"Cal Poly San Luis Obispo" is not an officially recognized name of the university. Only "Cal Poly" and "California Polytechnic State University" are (see this page: [1]. This must be reflected in the article title. 71.93.59.218 (talk) 07:45, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The California State University system mentions that the correct name for the university is: "California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo" or "Cal Poly San Lui Obispo" in its elided form.CSU Branding Standard Guides In addition, in the context of the encyclopedia, Cal Poly is an ambiguous term. Hence the need for the geographical locator.-- Marco Guzman, Jr  Talk  11:40, 20 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
