Birth name[edit]

Out of the 34 sources used in the article, none use the name Teresa Edwina Palmer. The only source I can find for it is her IMDb biography, for which much consensus exists at the reliable sources noticeboard to not be considered a reliable source. I also noticed that an editor with the same name as Palmer's father on the archived talk page commented that the name was not accurate. I have removed this birth name from the article until a reliable source shows up per Wikipedia's biographies of living persons policy. dissolvetalk 20:05, 18 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Did Palmer really began dating Mark Webber in September 2012?[edit]

I’m not sure that this is correct. As per my original research, she first contacted him via Twitter on 7 October 2012, so one would think they began dating after that date. I cannot verify this with reliable sources, or any sources whatsoever. I know that this small difference doesn’t matter much, but maybe the sentence could be rewritten in such a way that it would avoid this issue altogether? SyaWgnignahCehT (talk) 06:20, 24 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The cited source mentions that they met via Twitter in September, so is verifiable. It would make sense that they didn't start talking until after the tweet you mention, but it needs a secondary reliable source. In my experience, magazine sources like US Weekly publish factual errors all the time, but it still needs a source as Wikipedia doesn't publish orignal research. dissolvetalk 17:24, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Changed it to say "late-2012" which is still verifiable, but doesn't contradict the primary source that you mention. dissolvetalk 17:28, 25 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Abbreviations are bad[edit]

Please fix the Awards/Accolades table to use the template {{{Abbr|Ref.|Refereneces}} or use the full word references because abbreviations are unclear and far less than what an encyclopedia should be. 04:16, 17 February 2017 (UTC) -- 109.77.230.16 (talk) 04:17, 17 February 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Characterisation[edit]

I am not sure this is corect, and thus not editing, but isn't calling someone a "beauty" a bit... off? Haven't encountered it in any other articles but I may just have not noticed.

I am reffering to the first section of the article; "Teresa Mary Palmer[1] (born 26 February 1986) is an Australian beauty, actress, writer" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.242.12.7 (talk) 04:06, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It is. Removed. --Ebyabe talk - Health and Welfare ‖ 04:11, 2 May 2017 (UTC)[reply]

criticized for breastfeeding[edit]

"In July 2016, Palmer was criticized for continuing to breastfeed her two-year-old son." There is nothing in the article to suggest let alone state that she has been criticized. The article is about her breastfeeding and how she understands how some women might feel judged. This sentence should be deleted. --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 21:20, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The whole article is a criticism of her breastfeeding the two-year-old. It's apparent in its tone and that it was even written as a critique. JesseRafe (talk) 21:24, 25 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Birth date/parents divorce[edit]

If she was born in 1986, how was she 3 years old when her parents divorced in 1992? 2601:444:80:5EF0:5C6:DF99:4966:E370 (talk) 12:00, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Her birthdate seems clear in the sources but the date of the divorce (and thus her age at the time) is not. It might be better if the text was amended to remove the date and age and just say that they divorced when she was a young child, which is what is important to the text which follows about her upbringing.Sbishop (talk) 13:02, 7 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
