History section[edit]

I started to write the history section, but my brain isn't working sufficiently well enough to write it creatively without making it a copyvio from one or both of the sites I posted. So I was a bit unorthodox and left a note with some source pages in the article. I figure I'll get back to it before anyone else sees it, anyway, but if you really think it's a bad idea, feel free to delete it (or at least move the note to this talk page...) cluth 04:32, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Photo adds reverted and restored[edit]

I added several free-licensed photos from Flickr, after noticing a good one that a Flickr friend posted, and checked for others.

Another editor promptly reverted, commenting: "None of these photos are explanatory of the copy...." and further objecting (I think) that these were attractive photos. Very odd. To this editor: WP pages are always a work in progress. If you're at all familiar with Templeton, the Feed store "tower" has been a local landmark for generations, and the winery and entertainment businesses are both important to the local economy. I don't doubt that the article could be improved, but let's not go backwards here. Thanks, Pete Tillman (talk) 20:07, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Actually, this editor was just plain wrong: the wineries and Feed businesses are specifically mentioned in our article, including Castoro Cellars by name. See Economy para. --Pete Tillman (talk) 20:20, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Who is this "our" you speak of? John from Idegon (talk) 20:43, 19 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]
I believe that "our" referred to the Wikipedia community, but of course I could be wrong. BeenAroundAWhile (talk) 18:33, 19 May 2019 (UTC)[reply]
