Did you know... that Teeology.com, an e-commerce co-founded by Jennifer Lopez, uses new technology and social network tools to "disrupt the traditional retail model"?

How does this disrupt the traditional retail model? People presumably buy the tees. Can we have a bit more about the revolutionary aspects? Yngvadottir (talk) 17:02, 12 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That's basically all the source states. I assume it is referring to how the users of the website vote for the T shirts and the design of the website and its features. Statυs (talk) 11:19, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Quotation marks[edit]

I removed quotation marks from around "high-end", "various artists and designers" and "basics" as these do not seem to be quotes, rather they appear to be improper usage of quotation marks for emphasis. I was reverted with the explanation "It's notable so it can stay in the lead too.", which does not apply to anything I did. If no one can provide an explanation as to why these quotation marks are needed around these word I will be removing them again. --Khajidha (talk) 19:24, 13 August 2012 (UTC)[reply]

That was clearly a mistake. "It's notable so it can stay in the lead too" does not apply to quotation marks, it applies to the former removal of information from the lead. "Various artists and designers" is a direct quote from the source, so that's why it was like that. "Basics" should also be in quotes, as it is what they are called.
