Another monitor[edit]

Taxan also made another monitor in the early 80s, the TAXAN Vision PAL. The only image I could find of it on the internet is here: [1] (note how the entire name including logo is written in two lines instead of one, the earphones jack on the left, the three white/cream-colored knobs, and the lack of any color in that lower part, such as any colored lines or such). It used to be in use for close to 20 years on my grandfather's Commodore 64 that I inherited when he died in 1998, and sometime around 2003-5, my stepfather sold the entire C64 package and peripherals in working condition, including the monitor (as well as early-80s breadbin keyboard/processor, Commodore 1541 floppy drive, MPS 802 printer, and Quickshot II joystick), at a yardsale. I've only recently been able to identify the monitor when I found an old photo negative from the 80s which shows it at the time when it still stood at my grandparents's. --79.242.203.134 (talk) 01:29, 28 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
