Removed Review section for NPOV

  • Removed some strange text toward the bottom of the page, can only assume it was another langauge: please remember, Wikipedia is English. Also removed NPOV section "Praise" and tidied up the text somewhat to give a more objective feel to it.
  • Removed entry regarding 'Mr. Tata's dream': it is neither relevant nor can it be backed up by a source. Ssteedman 10:32, 6 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Bought my TATA INDICA only to have problems from the beginning,There was rust on my car 2days afer i bougth it, my gears gave me problems and still do, after 10 000km my cars breaks started giving problems, I told the dealership and they said i must wait for my first service to get it fix. My car has paint on the windows, and I ask them why, they told me its massive production. After they fix my breaks i needed to balance my wheels, just to find out yhat my new car rear axle a bented, im traying to get it fix for more then a year now but nothing.

As a tata vehicle owner, I'd suggest you try contacting customercare@tatamotors.com or the concerned regional office from http://www.customercare.tatamotors.com/contact/reachUs.asp . they usually respond —Preceding unsigned comment added by 59.93.4.175 (talk) 04:08, 13 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Two reverse lights only one bulb[edit]

I have noticed that most of the Indicas' here in Mangalore have only one reverse bulb installed in the two reverse light holders. The dealer here mentioned that it comes only with one bulb.--PremKudvaTalk 05:45, 5 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

indian car,indian article[edit]

this article is soooo indian... the englsh especially.

I seem to recall in the wikipedia guidelines that if an article is principally about something in a country, that country's version of English is appropriate to use. Sblument (talk) 22:06, 15 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sounds like the Indica Vista is a significant model change. Should it get its own article? --IanOsgood (talk) 20:30, 24 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

The Indica vista is considered the second generation of the Indica ( sample usage http://www.tata.com/media/articles/inside.aspx?artid=+Q/G6pe666o= )While it is claimed to be all new,and the name is being gradually transitioned to Vista, it is still the second generation of the car.

Additionally, regarding splitting the EV articles, EV versions of both the first and second generation Indicas have been launched, and (on a personal note, there have been several design studies and variants on the indica platform, the indica page itself is proof - apart from the four sedan platforms and stationwagon launched commercially, there have also been several sport/rally/off road variants ( and now EV) variants, none of which have actually been produced commercially. Unless a product is launched and available in the market , I suggest that they remain in the main page. Kickassso (talk) 20:49, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

NPOV[edit]

The whole article reads as if it was written by somebody in Tata's PR department. While it's understandable that Indians should take pride in their indigenous car industry and its products, a bit more balance is needed. For a different perspective on this car see Rover CityRover. --Ef80 (talk) 16:26, 12 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Improvements[edit]

After looking at the Indigo article and discovering it was an obvious advertisement, I decided to go through some other Tata car articles to see how they are. I was glad to see that this one is better, but it has a lot of unnecessary info, most of which is advertisement-like. There is no need to list all of the optional features of a car (or any, for that matter, unless they are somehow unique). If bloat is cut down and maybe some more content is added, this could be a GA. 99.135.175.17 (talk) 00:52, 13 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]
