Tara set at Selznick studios[edit]

It is indisputable fact that the Tara set was built at Selznick International Pictures, not M-G-M, and that the set was sold, dismantled, and sent to Georgia in 1959. I have provided excellent reference citations for this, from both 1959 and today. If you believe there is a story in the Los Angeles Times that claims the Tara set was at M-G-M and was demolished in the early 1980s, it is your obligation to provide a reference citation to that article. — Walloon 04:39, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Walloon is correct on this point -- the information there now is sufficiently sourced. If you would like to challenge that, you need to provide, not just point to, a reliable source which disputes it. - Che Nuevara 19:28, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Che, are you the person who is mediating this dispute?24.45.196.36 22:23, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I hope that the latest information puts a rest to the controversy once and for all. It is no wonder there was much debate over this issue.SUNY Boy (talk) 04:20, 8 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
