– Per WP:DABCONCEPT, the districts are named after the settlements. This is normal format per WP:UKDISTRICTS, see Blaby/Blaby District and Fareham/Borough of Fareham. Non metropolitan districts are normally refered to as X District, not just X anyway [1][2][3]. The existing Tandridge DAB page can just be deleted. There is a small place in Oxfordshire called Tendring but that doesn't appear to be notable. There is coverage on the surname Gedling but we don't have an article on it, or even anyone with that name. If the villages aren't moved to the base name, they should be moved to Foo (village) instead, see Talk:Corfe Castle (village)#Requested move 12 April 2014. I will take care of fixing the links after this move. Crouch, Swale (talk) 10:05, 5 August 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. Dreamy Jazz talk | contribs 18:52, 12 August 2018 (UTC) --Relisting. The villages are small and relatively unknown compared to Blaby and Fareham, and are not the primary topics; the districts may be, at least for Tandridge and Tendring. The districts could be moved to be more precise. I agree that (village) would be better disambiguation for the villages. Peter James (talk) 19:27, 7 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I have added the population for the districts as well, similar to Barnsley. I don't think the question of primary topic is that relevant to subsidiary meanings anyway, DABCONCEPT is appropriate here. All standard NC seem sensible here, for a similar reason to the points at Talk:Evenlode#Requested move 21 July 2018 about the district being mentioned prominently and the fact districts are often prefixed of suffixed. The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

Post-close comment[edit]

I have cleared up the links, there were a surprising number that were intended for the villages, not districts, I also corrected a link from Tendring, Essex that was intended for the district. 2017 Team LottoNL–Jumbo season 2017 Tour of Britain could be for the district but I'm unsure.
