Nothing here at all about his involvement with BC Premier Bill Vander Zalm re the Fantasy Gardens scandal, for which he is highly notable in BC. The scandal's too complicated to recount here, but suffice to say it involved a brown paper bag with 50,000 in cash to be held by the premier "for safekeeping" and Tan Yu's attempt to curry favour to get a banking license by offering to buy the Premier's amusement park; oh, so much more, but very surprised to see nothing about this here.Skookum1 (talk) 03:31, 30 March 2013 (UTC)[reply]
seeing this is still here and the article doesn't yet have anything about what's described above, I did an easy google and here are just a few of the links that come up; Faye Leung's link is a blog and could be considered AUTO/COI though, as she was involved in the affair (and how) and also the person who broke a lot of the "fascinating" details of the events of a certain evening and a certain brown paper bag:
