Merge Proposal[edit]

I don't think enough can be said about each short story in this collection for each to merit its own Wikipedia page. I propose that the pages for the three current articles be combined into this one and deleted. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 128.187.0.164 (talk) 16:28, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I think this is a sound proposal, and the resulting page could be filled out with brief (hopefully spoiler free) descriptions of the other stories as well. The existing pages for the other stories could be re-configured as re-directs to the White Hart page. Ironically, I was re-reading through the White Hart stories last night, after hearing of Sir Arthur's passing.--Voodude (talk) 14:23, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This is pretty old, but nothing has happened here over this, so:
I’d oppose these mergers. The pattern for short stories elsewhere (here, for example, or here, or any here) is to have a page for the anthology containing a list of links, and individual pages on each story. That way publication details can be given for each story, which can be published in several different places.
Is this collection different, that it needs to be treated in a different way? Swanny18 (talk) 20:09, 21 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
There's nothing more, here, and I'd say there's no consensus to merge, so I'm removing the tags. Swanny18 (talk) 16:08, 13 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Samuel Youd[edit]

Is the character named Samuel or John? this doesn't indicate. we know that the writer is SY aka JC, but how is he named here?(mercurywoodrose)66.80.6.163 (talk) 19:41, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
