Tablet/Card Materials[edit]

Plastic isn't mentioned as a material. I cut 3"x3" cards out of a plastic for-sale/no-trespassing/no-hunting type of sign. Put 9 or so in a deck, and round the corners using a sander, then drill holes with a Forstner bit. Far outlasts the cardboard types w/o tear-in. --Thistledowne (talk) 07:49, 25 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The image on the site is that of an inkle loom, not a tablet weaving device. They are not the same. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.28.175.65 (talk) 23:18, 15 July 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The image depicts warp threads strung through four-cornered tablets or cards. The warp is stabilized on the pegs of an inkle loom, but the weaving technique pictured is, in fact, tablet weaving. which Apremont?[edit]

Clarified. Stringgeek (talk) 23:24, 29 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

the article mentions that tablet weaving has been found in "Apremont, France." there are several Apremonts in France. it would be helpful to specify which province to clarify, since clicking the link in the article brings up a disambiguation page. 95.44.98.240 (talk) 10:59, 27 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]
