Note: To-do.[edit]

This is as much a note for myself as for other editors. The list of stations needs to be properly wikilinked to the actual locations. Most currently link to disambig pages, redirects, or the wrong page entirely (e.g. Mariko). So, someone (possibly myself) needs to identify the actual locations of these stations and make the wikilinks point to the correct pages. LordAmeth 11:30, 28 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Tokaido Road[edit]

I agree that the historic Tokaido Road should have its own article. The general word "Tokaido" can direct to a disambiguation page (this one). The specific article would also discuss the print series done for the road by various artists such as Hiroshige. Currently "Tokaido Road" directs to a novel by Lucia St. Clair Robson. However, this is a bit like Route 66 being directed to a song title instead of the historic road. - Parsa 19:05, 20 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Splitting off the article on the historical road is probably the best solution, but I think a better title for the resulting article would be Tōkaidō (road). Any thoughts? Pinkville 01:23, 21 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agreed, the section is totally redundant now, so I removed it and linked to the main article. The disambiguation needed major trimming as well, and that "armani of karate apparel" line needs to be fact checked or removed. -- Exitmoose 02:35, 22 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Although I view the "armani of karate apparel" line to be poorly written, the sentiment is accurate, I've found a link where theyre described as the "rolls royce" of dogi [[1]]
