Species' name[edit]

IUCN and FishBase both list this species as Synodontis angelicus. FishBase, in particular, lists S. angelica as a synonym and marks it as a "misspelling of the species' name that must not be used": Synonyms of Synodontis angelicus Schilthuis, 1891
