Were cylinders actually sold?[edit]

I'm trying to find more sources on this having actually been sold as cylinders. I wouldn't be entirely surprised - Mencken tells the story of Stall bringing a phonograph along to Sunday School and getting the boys to sing and playing it back to them - but I've found one other mention and it refers to the Loompanics catalogue note. Perhaps tracking down Th. Metzger would be in order ... Is there a list anywhere in existence of commercial wax cylinders? - David Gerard (talk) 21:33, 8 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
