Comment

The current opening paragraphs sound a bit like a recruiting brochure. The recent contributions help flesh out the article some more, but I think we need to work towards a more neutral point of view.

Per Wikipedia:College_and_university_article_guidelines#Article structure, the standard image organization on Wikipedia is to have the University seal at the top of the infobox, with a wordmark or other insignia at the bottom. AN IP editor recently changed this structure with the edit summary of "reverted to university wordmark which is preferred graphic." Please note that we do not work for the University, nor are we bound by the university's policies. The seal is used under Wikipedia:Non-free content. Finally, that IP belongs to Susquehanna University, so that raises questions of Conflict of interest.--GrapedApe (talk) 14:14, 30 September 2010 (UTC)

That is correct. We have to ensure consistency across a great many university articles. Itsmejudith (talk) 08:23, 1 October 2010 (UTC)

Peter J. Arduini

Non-notable individuals do not included in the list of Notable Alumni. See WP:N for information on what constitutes notability. Peter J. Arduini is not notable under that standard, so that name cannot be included in the list of Notable Alumni. --GrapedApe (talk) 04:26, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

Proper evidence was given of Arduini's notability. There are plenty of examples throughout Wikipedia, particularly on university pages, of notable individuals who do not have an entry of their own.
Given GrapedApe's editing history on this page - constant deletion of material that has been demonstrated to be acceptable on other universities' pages - and his biographical information that states he is an alumnus of Franklin and Marshall, a competitor school, this demonstrates possible Conflict of interest. 198.228.199.159 (talk) 23:59, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
No.--GrapedApe (talk) 02:06, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Salaries and Tuition

A recent edit included salary of the president and current tuition. It has been reverted, as I fail to see any encyclopaedical value in it. In addition, both salaries and tuition fees are subject to annual adjustment and thus information will become stale within a year. Also, Wikipedia generally frowns upon inclusion of prices.--Truther2012 (talk) 13:49, 30 June 2014 (UTC)

Safety

Can the reference to the seventh most dangerous communities be removed from under safety? As noted, this is a ploy by a private home security firm.
