Should be renamed[edit]

The name of this item is wrong. It is "Supreme Audit Office." The current title of the article is based on an erroneous translation of the name of the agency (unfortunately often used in the past by the agency itself and others). — Preceding unsigned comment added by 83.28.138.207 (talk) 14:52, 21 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Google Books hits for ["Supreme Audit Office" NIK]: 40. For "Supreme Chamber of Control" NIK: 2,000. For [" Supreme Audit Office" Poland]: 670 . For ["Supreme Chamber of Control"] Poland: 13,000. That said, the official English name for the institution, as seen at [1] is "Supreme Audit Office", so I think we need to move it to the official name. --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:26, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Category:Judicial system of Poland[edit]

Misteake. It is not a part of judicial system of Poland, it is not an account tribunal. --Dotz Holiday (talk) 18:26, 13 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]

@User:Dotz Holiday: What category would you replace it with? Pl wiki category structure is not that helpful; it categorizes NIK as Category:Government of Poland (more correctly, as Category:Polish government agencies, we don't have it yet - should create it as a subcat to the GoP and Category:Government agencies by country, I think) and Category:Constitutional law of Poland (we don't have a corresponding category, again - but I am not sure if it is an appropriate cat on pl wiki at all).--Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 07:34, 18 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@User:Piotrus: Part of government sensu largo, but outside of the Montesquieu's tripartite system, a subject of constitutional law, the supreme audit institution (SAI). --Dotz Holiday (talk) 23:15, 19 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
