Colin Lamb[edit]

"It is believed that Colin 'Lamb', the hero of The Clocks, is Superintendent Battle's son, using a pseudonym to avoid unwanted attention." — Who believes this, and why? It looks like speculation/OR hidden behind weasel words. 79.73.124.19 (talk) 10:36, 19 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Anne Hart, in her work Poirot: the Life and Times of Hercule Poirot (Harper Collins 1997), makes this suggestion. See Chapter 6, note 6: "It is likely that Colin Lamb, who operated under an assumed name, was the son of Superintendent Battle, Poirot's old friend from Cards on the Table". 203.31.52.131 (talk) 23:01, 1 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
