Mis-labelling in phase diagram?[edit]

Aren’t the axes the wrong way round in the p-T diagram? If the critical point is going to be in the lower branch of the Y, shouldn't T be the x-axis? Compare Supercritical fluid#Phase diagram. And the gas/liquid/solid labels make no sense for either choice of axes. Or am I missing something? SteepLearningCurve (talk) 16:54, 21 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I Agree: the diagram is wrong. The diagram suggests that the substance is a liquid at high pressure and low temperature whereas it is shown as a solid at high temperature and low pressure. So far I haven’t encountered any substance with such properties. Relabelling the axis doesn't fix it. Especially since it really should’t matter if you choose the x or y- axis for the temperature. But I’d prefer the more common pT-Diagram instead of the given Tp-Diagram. The Diagramm as show is completely misleading. Cgn21 (talk) 17:35, 6 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The gas and liquid labels are reversed. I've removed it for now. If it is fixed, it can be restored. Moreover, it would be better not to have a scan of a handdrawing. --JorisvS (talk) 09:34, 7 August 2015 (UTC)[reply]
